Dr. Chanelle Holder, DMD
Born and raised in the vibrant landscape of Canada, Dr. Holder is a dynamic blend of artistry and science. With a passion for theater and a knack for creativity, she discovered her true calling in dentistry—thanks in part to the inspiring mentorship of her sister, also a dentist.
Dr. Holder completed her undergraduate studies in her hometown of Winnipeg, where she also earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba. While practicing as a general dentist in Canada, she found her passion for Endodontics, focusing on saving smiles and preserving teeth. With only two Endodontic programs in Canada, she seized the opportunity to pursue advanced training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey, where she proudly earned her Endodontic Certificate.
A dedicated leader, Dr. Holder has always been active in the dental community at local, provincial, and national levels. During her dental school journey, she served as class president for all four years and represented Manitoba on the Women in Dentistry Committee in Canada. Her commitment to social causes led her to participate in Habitat for Humanity initiatives, helping provide safe, affordable homes for families in Winnipeg. Additionally, her passion for the environment inspired her to establish her dental school’s first Environmental Committee, tackling waste reduction in dentistry.
Dr. Holder's academic achievements didn’t go unnoticed; she received numerous awards for her excellence in Endodontics, crowns and bridges, and leadership. After graduating, she returned to her alma mater as a part-time instructor, sharing her expertise with the next generation of dental professionals. As an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, she has contributed as a former representative on the Public and Professional Relations Committee and has presented award-winning research on Endodontic treatment for children.
With a heartfelt commitment to her patients, Dr. Holder strives to provide compassionate and comprehensive care, creating a calming environment that alleviates dental anxiety. When she’s not enhancing smiles, you can find her exploring the culinary delights of New York City, experimenting in the kitchen, staying on top of fashion trends, or traveling to new destinations.
